Open House

Friday, May 15, 2009, 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Come experience the transformational work that takes place at SJOM for yourself and jumpstart your weekend! 

Join SJOM staff, participants, and the greater community at our 2009 Open House and Reception for appetizers, a chance to build relationships and network with other attendees, and a short program.

Reception at Decima Musa Restaurant (across the street from SJOM at 1901 S Loomis) from 5:00 - 6:00 pm with a chance to connect with other community members, concerned citizens, social service agencies, and key leaders from our neighborhoods.

Following, a short program to learn more about what we do and how we are working to help bring homelessness an end,  hear testimonies from participants, receive a tour of our facilities, and see how SJOM plays a vital role in helping make Pilsen a vibrant community and providing a safe, productive environment for homeless men.  Also view the DEBUT of our first SJOM Documentary, produced by Reuben Browning.

Closing remarks and reception will conclude at 8:00 pm.

 Gift Bags! for the first 100 registered guests to show up, and Raffle Prizes.  Raffle tickets will be available for $1 at the event.  Prizes include merchandise from OMD Chicago, Inc.

 Please help us plan accordingly and RSVP with the number of guests by MONDAY, MAY 4 to guarantee FREE ADMISSION.  Walk-ins are welcome, $5 at the door.

* Parking is available on Loomis and 19th Street, and Meter Parking on Blue Island just West of Loomis. 

* One glass of wine and refreshments will be provided by SJOM.  Full Cash Bar available.
