Mr. Zamora Jr.

Congratulations to Eliseo Zamora Jr! He is going to Triton college to become a pastry chef, he needs 68 credits to get a degree in what he is trying to pursue. Eli has been in Culinary since 2007 and wants to keep pursuing in it. He is taking a course called “HIA 128-005 Introduction to Baking and Pastry” after one semester he will transfer to Kennedy King college where he will be paying by a Federal Pell Grant. He said “...My goal is to be a chef.”

which some people can find as very strong words. He is a dedicated man, and is willing to try to get what he deserves. Some other courses he will be taking are, “HIA 127 Cake and Pastry Decoration”, “HIA 274 Retail Bakery Management”. We are all excited about him going to college to study what he wants to become. It seems that he is very dedicated in his work. Last Saturday at the BBQ he was serving food and grilling! Eliseo is also in a play called “This Train” it will be shown at 1624 North Halsted from July 15 – August 1. The play is written and directed by Tony Fitzpatrick; who was in movies such as Married to The Mob, Primal Fear and Philadelphia. At SJOM we all wish him luck in school and the play he will be in! We hope many more dreams come true for Mr. Eliseo Zamora Jr.
