Mission

San Jose Obrero Mission is an Interim Housing Program in Chicago providing 120-day residential and support services for men who are 18 and older and homeless. With all of SJOM’s direct service staff bilingual in English and Spanish, the Mission focuses particularly on providing services for Latino men, however, SJOM's services are offered on a non-discriminatory basis to men of all races, religions, sexual orientation, and national origins.

The primary goal of the program is to assist and support participants as they stabilize their lives and reach higher levels of self-sufficiency by preparing to move to permanent housing.
