On the Streets

SJOM realizes the importance of contributing to the Pilsen community and helping build a vibrant community.  We try to play a positive role in improving the neighborhood whenever and wherever possible.  

The men who stay here also believe in doing their part.  They appreciate the support they get from the public, and want to do their part to create a safe, stable, and beautiful Pilsen to all of its residents and visitors.

 One way the men are doing this is by helping clean up the streets.  Every week a couple men volunteer to grab brooms, gloves, and trash bags  to get the debris and trash off the sidewalks.  They bundle up and work until the paths are clear, and walkable for all who may pass by.
