- SJOM intern, Jeremy Tay from the Masters in Social Work program at UIC helps a participant navigate an internet based job search

Bi-weekly visits by medical professionals from Rush Hospital and Heartland Alliance provides participants with basic health care.
SJOM men attend weekly Life Skills Classes to discuss various topics that will help them remain self-sufficient once they graduate from our program to independent living. The sessions are facilitated by the Supportive Services Manager and a Masters in Social Work Intern, and cover such topics as conflict resolution, personal hygiene, and time management.
